High Street in Broadway
Broadway is in the north-west corner of the Cotswolds in Worcestershire. It is a really nice place with just over 2,000 inhabitants and many tourists. The colour of the houses is particularly striking – they are built of a local very warm yellow, almost honey-coloured sandstone. This gives the place a very special flair.
The gastronomy here is very diverse, due to the popularity of the Cotswolds, especially with the affluent London scene, the price level tends to be somewhat higher. There are a number of very high-quality and usually expensive restaurants, but with a lot of style!
Local recommendation for the budget-conscious who still like to eat well is “The Horse and Hound” which has a separate dining area with good quality food and fair prices.
