On the coast at The Lizard Peninsula
Lizard Peninsula is located in southern Cornwall with Lizard Point as the southernmost point of the entire United Kingdom. Down here on the rugged “Heritage Coast”, there have often been serious shipwrecks in the past. Fortunately, this is no longer an issue today, thanks to the lighthouses.
The peninsula has some very nice places to visit (e.g. Cadgwith or Mullion Cove) as well as great steeply sloping coastlines that invite you to hike along the South West Coast Path.
