The baby swans: Aren’t they cuddly?
The Swannery in Abbotsbury (Dorset) on the “Jurassic Coast” is probably the only place in the world where visitors can walk through the middle of a colony of breeding swans and they are not bothered by it at all. You can even watch the cygnets hatch and see the little ones in their first hours and days.
Please note that it is worth combining a visit to the Swannery with that of the “Subtropical Gardens” and of course the town of Abbotsbury itself.
