Arundel in West Sussex with the castle wall on the left
Arundel in the south of the county of West Sussex is a nice little town (about 3,500 inhabitants), which is well known among many tourists for the mighty Arundel Castle. It is picturesquely situated on the slope down to the banks of the River Arun and it offers splendid views in many places, especially with its castle, which is one of the best-preserved castles of the Middle Ages. The castle also has a fantastic garden, which is worth a visit in itself.
The town of Arundel itself is very nice with many good restaurants and is definitely worth a visit.
