Sudeley Castle
Sudeley Castle lies in the Cotswolds near Winchcombe. Gloucestershire) The current structure dates from the 15th century and is only partially preserved. The completely preserved parts are actually still inhabited, which is not usually the case in British castles. A number of rooms are open to the public and contain numerous exhibits.
In addition, there is a large landscaped garden with a not exactly small pheasantry and this can be visited at no extra cost.
A visit to Sudeley Castle can be worthwhile, but we wouldn’t call it a highlight in comparison to other houses after our visit here in May (a day with a lot of children’s entertainment in the garden).
