Bath Abbey
Bath in Somerset hat keine Kathedrale, sondern “nur” eine Abteikirche – diese war einst Bestandteil eines Klosters und stammt aus dem 12. Jahrhundert. Im 13. Jahrhundert stark beshcädigt wurde sie im 16. Jahrhundert wieder aufgebaut und 1860 renoviert. Heute ist die “Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul“, wie sie offiziell heißt, unter anderem bekannt für ihr Orgel und die wundervolle Deckenkonstruktion.
